Red Cross Society

The Indian Red Cross is a voluntary humanitarian organization having a network of over 1100 branches throughout the country, providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promotes health & care of the vulnerable people and communities. Red Cross Society was started in 2005 in Jhunjhunwala Group of Institutions. It is mandatory for B.ed Students .It is co-ordinated by Mr. Ashutosh Verma. Training is provided to the Red Cross students by qualified  St. John Ambulance Instructors. Under this unit skill is provided to the students in First Aid.

The Mission of the Indian Red Cross society is to inspire, encourage and initiate at all times all forms of humanitarian activities so that human suffering can be minimized and making society a better place.

About St John Ambulance

St. John Ambulance Teach And Provide First Aid And Emergency Medical Services, And Are Primarily Staffed By Volunteers.Jhunjhunwala students who are part of this service contribute towards saving lives and keep communities safe.

Key Activities
  • First Aid, Home Nursing and allied training.
  • First Aid posts to provide First Aid services in large public congregations.
  • Provide ambulance services to transport casualties to hospitals.
