National Cadet Corps is a non-profit organization that takes in cadets from all over the country's high schools, colleges, and universities. The Cadets receive basic military training in parades and small arms. In 2002, Jhunjhunwala PG College began offering the NCC program with the intention of helping young people acquire virtues such as courage, commandership, discipline, leadership, a secular outlook, a spirit of adventure and sportsmanship, and the ideals of selfless service in order to make them useful citizens who will always be available to serve the country. Dr. Amarjeet Kaur served as first CTO . In 2010. Mrs. Sangeeta yadav was CTO. At present time miss Thazin Fatima is working as CTO.The total intake is 60 for Girls student. Cadets participate in a variety of training programs that cover fundamental military training, such as drill, shooting, physical fitness, map reading, first aid, gliding/flying, boat pulling, sailing, and others.
NCC has implemented community development activities with the intention of teaching cadets selflessness and dignity of labor. importance of self-help, need to protect the environment, and need to help the less fortunate in society .
