An Overview

In 2015 there were 251 Hospital, Nursing home & primary care centers registered by the government but there were only 5 to 10 % trained staff in hospitals. In view of such a huge gap of trained staff Our Hon. The chairman guided us to bridge this gap by educating boys and girls.

Jhunjhunwala Institute of Medical sciences started  4 paramedical courses ’Diploma in Operation Theater and Clinical Technology , Diploma in Trauma care, Diploma in optometry  & Diploma in Physiotherapy “ with 30 intake in each.After completion of course First batch of our paramedical students were placed in these Hospital and after their working Hospitals realized difference between educated, trained , groomed paramedical staff which was very helpful in moral boosting of  students as well as institute .

 In 2015 ANM, GNM, programs were introduced in the institutions affiliated to Indian Nursing Council , New Delhi and  parallel JIMS started Ayush program Nursing and Pharmacy also.

 JIMS has taken approval of D.Pharm and B.Pharm in mid of 2019. Our D.Pharm students are  working  in leading National and International manufacturing units. Hospital and Government Facilities. Now more than 500 students are studying in various health care courses which are helping private hospitals, Government Hospitals and other health care units.

 In Current year the Institute is going to start classes for B.Sc Nursing and B.Pharma.

In Future we are planning to take affiliation for various UG and PG courses in the medical stream.
